Povzetek

Lastništvo podjetja je močan motivacijski dejavnik za managerje in zaposlene. V tem članku primerjamo lastništvo managerjev in zaposlenih v podjetjih ter uvajanje novih izdelkov in storitev v podjetjih z lastništvom ali brez lastništva managerjev ali zaposlenih. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov od vzorca slovenskih podjetij smo ugotovili, da je lastništva več in se bolj povečuje pri managerjih kot pri zaposlenih in da imajo podjetja, v katerih so lastniki managerji, več novih izdelkov in storitev, kot tista, v katerih managerji niso lastniki.

Abstract

Corporate ownership is a powerful motivator for managers and employees. In this paper, we compare managerial and employee ownership of firms and the introduction of new products and services in firms with or without managerial or employee ownership. Using data from a sample of Slovenian firms, we find that ownership is greater and increases more for managers than for employees and that firms in which managers are owners introduce more new products and services than firms in which managers are not owners.
